Happy Birthday Anthony #6

Yes, its the Lego treehouse!  Thanks Aunt Katie, Uncle John and Allison.

Papa T brought supplies to redo the bird houses (peanut butter, then bird seed).

Wow, 6 years old.  Can't believe it.  He decided on ice cream for his birthday treat (no cake).

Valentine's Day

Tony was able to go to Anthony's Valentine's party for a little while.  Anthony was super surprised!

Kyle at School

Nothing left of that cupcake!  Guess he liked it.

Florida - Day 6 - Heading Home

We had such a great trip.  Hard to leave, but it was 55 degrees and raining.  Not a good day for the parks, so guess we will catch our flight to Detroit.  Anthony was such a good traveler.  He kept track of his backpack and even pulled his suitcase.  Tony and I enjoyed spending all of this special time with Anthony.  Great memories.  But….we miss KYLE!  Anthony is counting down the days until we can take Kyle to Disney.

Allison liked going to get Kyle in the morning.

On the bus to the airport.  Good Bye Disney.  It truly was AMAZING!

Seems weird to take these off.  They have been such an important part of our vacation.

Florida - Day 5 - Animal Kingdom

Woke up to cooler weather.  We didn't mind putting our sleeves on and heading out.  It was overcast  and about 65.  Anthony said this was his favorite park.  We started our day watching the 3D Bugs Life show.  We had a reservation at the Tusker House for a character breakfast.  Anthony had not been into characters at any of the parks.  He had no interest in meeting them or getting his picture with them.  We told him he did not have to meet them here either.  Something about them coming to the table changed his mind.  He hugged and got his picture taken with Goofy, Daisy, Donald and Mickey.  Tony and I were so proud of him.  We left the restaurant with some photos, full bellies and happy hearts!  We all LOVED the safari in Africa.  The animals were out and about for us to see.  Another highlight was seeing the tigers in Asia.  We ended the day watching Finding Nemo on stage.

Waiting for the park to open.

 The Tree of Life.

 A little Dino ride.

Animal Kingdom put on a GREAT parade.  It drizzled as we watched, but that didn't stop us from enjoying it.

Florida - Day 4 - Disney Hollywood Studios

After a good breakfast, we are off again.  We watched a cool Indiana Jones show, a 3D Muppet show, rode a fun Toy Story ride, ate at a Drive In Movie Theater and finished out the night at Fantasmic!  Another day in the 80s.  There was a threat of some rain, but it didn't happen.

Anthony LOVED the Honey I Shrunk the Kids play area.

 Indiana Jones show.

Sci-Fi Drive In Restaurant.  Think this was our favorite sit down meal.

That is MY milkshake he is drinking.

 Fantasmic was Fantastic!

Florida - Day 3 - Sea World

We took at cab to Sea World.  Another very warm day (85).  We enjoyed the dolphin show, Antarctica with the penguins, the shark exhibit and everything in between!  When we got back to our resort we had time to go to the pool.  Anthony loved the waterside at the pool.  It was very refreshing after being on our feet all day.  Dinner was at Boatwrights (restaurant at our resort).  We had ate a ton of pasta and it didn't even look like we touched our meals.

 Amazing dolphin show.

 Fish everywhere!

That huge turtle came to say HI to Anthony.

Burrrrr, it is cold in Antarctica!  We had to put on our sleeves.

 There goes a sting ray.

The Orca show was not going the day we were there.  We got to go to the training arena and watch them.

The Flamingos liked running with Anthony.
